stepping in to a family of three boys (the newest addition just a mere 2.5 weeks old) was such a treat. watching them wrestle and be all BOY was a fun break from my girly girls. these guys are in love love love with their newest ‘brudder’ and it was my pleasure to capture this time for their beautiful mother and her little men.
i am also in total denial that this will be my life in 5 months!
too many update posts lately without fun client images to share, so this time i’m giving you both!! the news of the day is that there are two portrait sessions still available for october. once those two sessions are booked, the year will be closed to new reservations. speak now or forever hold your peace (maybe not forever, but at least until 2011!)

just 13 days old and precious as can be- how adorable is this little guy? he looooved being outside in the warm humid air. (hey at least someone is enjoying it, right??) he is the first grandbaby on mom’s side and the eighth on dad’s, so brand new and old hat all at the same time.
he made his debut into the world a bit early- before mom and dad even had a chance to pick a name! dad remarked ‘it wasn’t quite how we had things planned.’ i was sure to say, ‘get used to it! usually they don’t do things the way we had planned’

i am up in dallas for the week hoping to learn lots at a great photography school and expand my abilities as well as my interests. on the way into town i drove directly to this little guy’s house. not only was i anxious to meet him, but photograph him as well!
here is the first of many- school should keep me crazy busy but hopefully i’ll have time to post more of a sneak peek for his parents soon!!
i think he’s proof that some babies are just WAY too cute for their own good. seriously, those blue eyes? the little fauxhawk? it was squishy love at first sight!
i got to know this little one and his adorable big brother (their first child, the pooch of course!) and can i just say they are both too cute for words? the little guy was born just a few days before eve’s first birthday and i couldn’t wait to get my hands on him yesterday. enjoy!

this bundle of sweet girl was not due until may first! she surprised her mom and dad by coming early and certainly has sweetened their lives already. just a quick peek for tonight, i am in the mad throes of preparing for my own baby’s first birthday party tomorrow. it was amazing to hold and soothe this sweet newborn and think just a year ago i was in their shoes.
oh the sweetness. really i couldn’t believe it when i showed up today and saw how much big sister has grown! this was such a sweet peaceful little one and i’m thrilled to make their mom’s birthday a tad more enjoyable by sharing these precious precious pictures of her girls!
