oh boy, i can’t wait to meet this little one! let’s start with the obvious- his mama is gorgeous!! i just adored their house in the hills and can’t wait to come back to meet their sweet bundle in early june.
mama has kept her rockin figure by swimming a ton. it reminded me of how much i just looooved to swim when i was pregnant with lily- immediately you just feel weightless and fantastic. there’s nothing like it! it will be fun to see if their little guy loves to swim!

i spent a lovely afternoon capturing this gorgeous mama-to-be and her dear friends and family as they celebrated the upcoming arrival of a sweet baby girl. so many people traveled hours to be there- you could tell they were just so thrilled to shower the guest of honor with love!

i can’t believe in just 2 years this business has grown leaps and bounds and i continue to be amazed- not only by the experiences that i am lucky enough to have, but also by your loyalty and kindness.

let this be proof that sometimes procrastinating pays off! i was avoiding packing my bags (and my childrens’ bags) for a weekend trip to dallas and decided to do a little googling to see who is chatting about me out there and came across this awesome plug in the february issue of rare magazine.

while i can’t exactly take credit for her pregnancy, i CAN take credit for the meeting of these two wonderful people. i was working with this gorgeous soon-to-be mama at goodwill (she the volunteer coordinator, me the special events planner) when one fateful night in downtown austin we met up with friends from my previous job… and the rest is history!
i can’t believe that silly night has turned into a bouncing baby boy who will be making his debut in april. i can’t wait to see if he has his mama’s beautiful eyes and his dad’s knack for all things technical!
