the every-few-months portrait calendar update is here! it is really starting to warm up outside and for those with tiny tikes, that means we will start scheduling outdoor sessions primarily in the morning. i have some availability in the next few months then we will head into what i like to call ‘holy cannoli everyone wants portraits in the fall’ season.

may: 1 weekday session
june: 3 weekday sessions
july: 1 weekend session, 2 weekday sessions
august: 2 weekend sessions, 4 weekday sessions
september: 4 weekend sessions, 4 weekday sessions

i was looking forward to ben & chelsea’s wedding for weeks. when we first met they brought their adorable pup with them and once i heard she would be making it down the aisle, i knew they had to be great people! i love hamilton twelve as well and jumped at the chance to do a first glance overlooking the austin skyline.

the wedding ceremony was postponed more than once due to crazy mishaps (what bus takes guests to the wrong wedding?!) but the bride took it all in stride and we took advantage of the extra time to keep snapping more portraits of this amazing bunch. here are some favorites from the day- enjoy!

who knew high school girls were this poised and gorgeous? i think i was a mess of frizzy hair and clumsy in high school (okay so i’m still clumsy and thank aveda for my hair looking half decent). i was so impressed by this young lady and had a great time taking her portraits! she is the youngest of 6 and the last to head off to college in the fall- huge congrats to her and her parents! enjoy!

my genevieve turns three this week. we spent some time this morning just being adventurers. i remember how fun it was to take my oldest’s three year portraits and i wondered how eve’s would go. it was a little slice of heaven.

her whole weekend was perfection in her three-year-old mind. a fun party with a few friends, cake, presents- perfection! and to top it off with time in the flowers with mom was just divine. she was all smiles and just her usual silly self and i’m so thankful to have captured her free spirit.
